What changes the price of a website
The starting price is for a lean website that presents the business and leads visitors to get in touch. The price goes up with what is added:
- Number of pages: a single presentation page costs less than a site with separate services, projects, blog and contact pages.
- Languages: every extra language means more copy to write, review and maintain.
- Features: a form, a WhatsApp button and a map are simple; booking, a customer area and a catalog take more work.
- Integrations: connections to other systems, such as a calendar, a CRM or payment providers.
What changes the price of an online store
Every TWS store has a catalog, a cart, online payment, shipping and an order dashboard. The price changes with:
- Catalog: how many products, variations (size, color) and categories.
- Payment: card and instant payments through the provider your business chooses.
- Delivery: shipping calculation, local pickup and your own delivery rules.
- Integrations: inventory, invoicing and other systems the business already uses.
Custom store or subscription platform?
Ready-made store platforms charge a monthly fee and, on many plans, a percentage of every sale. They start fast, but the store has to fit their model.
With a custom store, the look is yours, checkout follows the way you sell and the development price is agreed in the proposal. To decide, compare 2 or 3 years of fees and commissions with the price of your own store.
What to ask before you sign with any company
